1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Zen Custom Body Art website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Zen Custom Body Art provides custom tattoo design and application services, including the Ritual Tattoo Experience. All services are performed by appointment only at our studio location. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to health and safety concerns.

3. Consultations & Bookings

Consultation requests submitted through our website or third-party scheduling platforms are subject to availability. Submitting a consultation form does not guarantee an appointment. We will contact you to confirm scheduling details.

4. Deposits & Cancellations

• A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your appointment.
• Deposits are applied toward the total cost of your tattoo session.
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
• No-shows will result in forfeiture of the deposit and may affect future booking privileges.

5. Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age to receive tattoo services. Valid government-issued photo identification is required at the time of your appointment. We do not tattoo minors under any circumstances, regardless of parental or guardian consent.

6. Health & Safety

Clients are responsible for disclosing any health conditions, allergies, medications, or skin conditions that may affect the tattooing process. We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine that proceeding could pose a health or safety risk. You will be required to sign a consent and waiver form prior to your session.

7. Intellectual Property

• All custom tattoo designs created by Zen Custom Body Art remain the intellectual property of the artist unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Designs are created exclusively for the commissioning client and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used by others without written permission.
• Portfolio images, website content, logos, and branding materials are the property of Zen Custom Body Art and may not be copied or reproduced without prior written consent.

8. Photography & Portfolio Use

We may photograph completed tattoo work for our portfolio, website, and social media. By receiving services, you consent to the use of photographs of your tattoo (without identifying personal information) for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to have your tattoo photographed, please inform us before your session.

9. Aftercare Responsibility

Proper aftercare is essential for healing and the final appearance of your tattoo. We will provide aftercare instructions following your session. Zen Custom Body Art is not responsible for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions, or from pre-existing medical conditions.

10. Limitation of Liability

Zen Custom Body Art and its artist(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

11. Website Use

• This website is provided on an "as-is" basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the website.
• You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the website.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the website at any time without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
